Attendees: Robyn Harter, Jessica Bennett, Kaitlin Bennett, Teddy Tanner, Deeqa Hirad, John Steele, Greg Hubbell, Diana Hodgson, Sean Torres, Jeanie Walters

Everyone discussed and decided on our mission statement:

Firmly committed to a greener tomorrow through leadership & education of co-workers, community & customers by reducing, reusing & recycling.

Monthly meetings will EOW on Wednesday at 7am sharp! Please note the following dates for next meetings: Nov. 12, 26, Dec. 10, 24th.

We need to educate and promote recycling within our own workplace. We need to do the following:

      • Place recycling bins in the break room - signs
      • Place recycling bins in the kitchen - signs
      • Place desk top paper recycling boxes at all desks - count
      • Get forms from Nicole B. for the boxes
      • Put 2 toters labeled on each side of the building
      • Get with cleaning company about recycling our program
      • Get recycling facts / statistics together for newsletter & signs

Everyone will be given something to help out on. We would like to get this up and running in the next week or two.

We also discussed some ways we can conserve in our own departments: Put computers on standby when done for the day, use scrap paper more, less Steno pads, change light bulbs to energy saver bulbs if they are not already.

We will give our info to Robyn for the next newsletter. We will need a group photo.

Next meeting: We will discuss the in house recycling program that is in place. We will discuss ideas on how to do more here and to educate our co-workers. We will put signs up reminding others to recycle and facts on recycling. Put together more information for the next newsletter- how our recycling program in house is working out - take pics etc.

Next meeting will be: Nov. 12th - 7am!!
