 American Disposal Services is the largest family owned and operated refuse and recycling removal service in Northern Virginia. With more than two generations of experience, we are leaders of tradition, innovation and integrity in the refuse industry. The professional commitment of our entire staff has helped American Disposal Services establish and maintain its record of excellence. As a community oriented company, we are dedicated to providing efficient and economic waste hauling service to our customers.
American Disposal Services started with one truck and one idea, to be the number one waste disposal and recycling removal company in Northern Virginia, committed to customers,
employees and community. We have grown from that one truck, to a fleet of over 100 trucks and over
250 employees, currently servicing over 100 thousand residential customers and over 2,500 commercial customers. We proudly service homeowners associations, individual residences, and commercial,
construction and industrial locations such as: shopping centers, office complexes, apartments, industrial parks and
government facilities in the Northern Virginia area. A friendly, experienced staff gives American Disposal Services
just what it needs to be the best.
We feel the best way to give back to the people who have given us so
much is through charitable contributions, sponsorship and community support. Each year we sponsor the Vienna Relay for Life, a night designed to celebrate cancer survivorship and to raise money for cancer research, advocacy, education and patient services programs of the American Cancer Society. We recently began working with Wounded Warrior, a program that sends aid to United States' soldiers severely wounded in battle, and we also work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to aid in the research of the disease in efforts to find a cure.
Each year, American Disposal Services donates all of the proceeds from our Annual American Invitational golf event to
the American Cancer Society. We sponsor local schools' athletic departments, neighborhoods and communities with refuse
and recycle removal services and supplying equipment and monetary support when needed. We work with local schools to
help educate children about recycling and what they can do to help preserve the planet through our Ready...Set...Recycle program.
